Here are a few things that you can try to reduce the glare with your document camera:

  • Turn off the lights
  • Pull the shades down in your room. (If shades are not available in your room, request Jon or Vern to have them installed)
  • Use the Anti-Glare sheet provided with your document camera
    • We understand that most people just tossed these in the trash no knowing what they were for. If you go to any fabric shop and ask for "Template Plastic", then this will do the trick to get rid of those "hot spots" on black and white documents. The video is for a computer screen but the this works just the same for your document cameras.
    • Amazon has them. You'll have to purchase 3 sheets but you can go in on it with 2 other teachers. Then you may want to cut down the sheet to fit your needs.
