Changing a Parent's Email/Password

  1. If they forgot which email they used you will need to go into powerschool and find their account.
    1. Go to https://rockwoodschools.powerschool.com/admin/guardians/search.html
    2. Search for their last name
      1. If they have an account Select their account
      2. If they don't there will not be an account to select. They will then have to create a new account. This can be done using this article
    3. Here you can view their email and give it to them.
  2. If a parent has an account but cannot remember the password have them use the " Forgot Username or Password?"
    1. If they are still unsuccessful using the forgot password option, you can reset their password.
      1. Use the above method to get to the location 
      2. Set "New Password" & "Confirm New Password" to Rockwood1
      3. The parent will then need to use a computer (no phones/Tablets) to login with the new password of Rockwood1 and PowerSchool will prompt them to change it.
