The Rockwood Area School District uses an automated parent notification system, SchoolMessenger, that allows us to notify parents of school closings, delays, early dismissals, and other important announcements. SchoolMessenger distributes school related messages to phone numbers and email addresses that are currently listed in PowerSchool. In order to receive text messages, you will need to text the word “YES” to 68453. You must do this from each wireless device that you wish to receive texts on. You should then receive a text notification from 684-53 which states “You’re now registered with SchoolMessenger”. If you do not receive confirmation that you have registered, please review the contact numbers in PowerSchool to make sure that the correct wireless numbers are listed. You may view/edit other contact information in PowerSchool, such as email addresses and contact phone numbers. Click on "View/edit contact information in PowerSchool." for details.
