*Note: We will not be supporting the built-in mail app with iOS users. This built-in mail app uses and older form of communication to fetch your emails from Google. This app Gmail - Email by Google is more secure at getting your emails from the Google Servers.
**Note: If you receive a message like this you will need to set a passcode on your device before you can finalize the set up of Gmail. This could be a pin or a Thumbprint or Face ID(if available on your model phone). This passcode is required to add your School Gmail account to your phone.
- Go to Settings
- Touch Passcode (On devices with Touch ID, go to Touch ID & Passcode. If you have an iPhone X, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode)
- Tap Turn Passcode On
- Enter a six-digit passcode. Or tap Passcode Options to switch to a four-digit numeric code, a custom numeric code, or a custom alphanumeric code.
- Enter your passcode again to confirm it and activate it.
- Now reopen your Gmail App and it will allow you to Turn on your School Email and Tap Done.
