- Get the file that was provided to you.
- Open the file and drag and drop it to the desktop
- Open the folder. This will contain 2 files. One is your calendar (.ics) and the other is your contacts(.vcf)
- You will both need to be uploaded to your Google account. (Remember to import these into your School account. Do not import into your personal account)
- Open Google Contacts on a computer. Note: You can only import from a computer, not a phone or tablet.
- Click More
- Click Import
- A window will popup and say "Import Contacts from other accounts". Click CSV or vCard file
- A popup will advise that you will need to go to the "Old Version" of Contacts to import. Proceed by clicking "Go to Old Version"
- Now you you should be in the "Old version" of Google Calendar. From here you will finally get to import your contacts with the file we provided you.
- Click Import Contacts
- Click Select File from your computer.
- Click Choose File and select the Contact file (This looks like a business card icon). The file should end in "vcf"
- Click Import.
- You will need to wait at least 2 minutes for the contacts to update. You may also need to refresh the website.
