How to Make a Mailing List in Gmail

This wikiHow teaches you how to create a list of contacts to email all at once in Gmail. You cannot create a mailing list while using the Gmail mobile app.

Go to https://www.gmail.com/ in a web browser. If you're already logged into Gmail, doing so opens your inbox.
- If you aren't logged into Gmail, click SIGN IN in the top-right corner of the page and enter your email address and password.

Click Gmail ▼. It's in the top-left side of the page, just above the COMPOSEbutton.

Click Contacts. Doing so will open a new tab in your browser with a list of your Gmail contacts.

Check
the names you want to include in your mailing list. Hover your cursor over the picture on the left side of a contact's name and click the box that appears. Repeat this process for each contact you wish to select. -

Click
and then select + Create label. It's in the top-right of the page. -

Enter a name for your label, then click OK. Your label will appear in the sidebar below the "Labels" heading.

Go to https://www.gmail.com/ in a web browser. If you're already logged into Gmail, doing so opens your inbox.
- If you aren't logged into Gmail, click SIGN IN in the top-right corner of the page and enter your email address and password.

Click COMPOSE. It's on the left side of you Gmail inbox.

Type your label's name into the "To" field. The "To" field is at the top of the "New Message" pop-up window. Your label's name will appear below this field.

Click the label from the list. Doing so will place it in the "To" field.

Write your email. You'll do this by typing in the large white section below the "Subject" field.

Click Send. It's in the bottom-left corner of the "New Message" window. Doing so will send your email to each contact on your mailing list.
